A pleasant enough addition to my country collection, but lacks the heart and soul of THE MAVERICKS: DEFINITIVE COLLECTION. Raul Malo has come far from when this album was produced. Personally I prefer their later works with the infusion of 50’s rock/alt. country/latino blend. On their 1990 indie debut, the Mavericks proved they had all of the raw tools in place: Raul Malo boasted a magnificently dramatic voice and an impeccable songwriting touch. This is a great book! It is not an IR romance book. Maverick and Black Cat are both white. I did not know having a webcam could be so much fun. There are plenty of sex scenes in this book. It has a good story line and the characters are likable. I would recommend this book. If you are thinking about getting “Friends with Benefits”, I would suggest reading this book first because the characters from “Friends with Benefits” are introduced in this book.
